Rakesh Transport

Rakesh Transport is basically us working out of this spot at C-10/151 in the Vishalgad area. We have been in Kandivali East for quite some time now, right around the Sahyadri neighborhood. It gets pretty loud around here with all the traffic coming through the Mvr Layout and the Hbr Layout sections. Sometimes people get confused because of the Kalyan Nagar Post address we use, but we are right here. Mostly we just handle the day to day moving of goods and keeping our drivers on track. It is not some big fancy operation with a glass front office or anything like that. We have a couple of desks and some old chairs where we sit and talk to customers and manage the logs. The building is a bit old but it works for what we need. It’s hard work, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get messy, but we just keep at it. We know the local routes around here better than anyone I think. My uncle started this thing and now we just carry it on. We don't really do much advertising, mostly it’s just people seeing our name on the side of a truck or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up every morning, open the door, and start taking calls to move stuff from one place to another. That is pretty much our life here every single day.
