If you walk down towards Kalina Vallabh Nagar, you’ll find us at 6/186 in Kulsam Mahal. We are right opposite the Pushpraj Hotel, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Raju Steel & Money Lender is a bit of an old-fashioned kind of place. On one side, we deal with steel, which is heavy and dusty work. We have different types of rods and sheets that people need for building things or repairs. On the other side, we help people out with money when they are in a pinch. It’s a local way of doing business that has been around for ages. The shop is usually busy with people coming in to ask about prices or to settle their accounts. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially with the metal around, but we have a fan going. We know the neighbors well, and most of the people who come in are regulars from the Kalina area. We don't have a fancy website or a big staff. It's just us at the counter. We keep the books by hand and make sure everything is recorded properly. Being across from the hotel means there’s always people walking by. It’s a straightforward business, no frills or corporate talk. We just provide the steel and the cash as needed and keep the shop running six days a week without making things complicated.
