Rajkamal Metals

Rajkamal Metals is located at Ishwar Niwas, right on 5th Khetwadi Lane. Being near S.V.P. Road means there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Our space at number 20 isn’t huge, but we make it work for all the metal supplies we keep on hand. Most days start with us moving crates around to make room for new stuff coming in. The lane is narrow, so you have to be careful when walking by. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Inside, it smells like cold metal and maybe a bit of machine oil. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific metal sheet or a rod, we usually know exactly which corner it’s tucked into. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. We just keep the fans going and keep working through the list of things to do. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. It’s about the metal and getting it to the people who need it for their projects. Every evening we shut the gates and head home, only to come back and do it again the next morning. It is just the way we like to work.
