Rajhans Vidyalaya

You will find Rajhans Vidyalaya tucked away inside the Hmp School Campus over in Munshi Nagar. We are right near Bhavan’s College, so the whole area is usually full of students and buses. It’s located on D.N. Road in Andheri West, which everyone knows is a busy part of the city. The school has been around for quite a bit. It’s a large campus compared to some others in the neighborhood. We have trees inside the gates which is nice because it gets hot out on the main road. The buildings are solid, and we have the usual stuff like labs and a library that smells like old paper. It’s not a quiet place during the day, with all the shouting from the playground and the bells ringing for period changes. Most people find us because they live in the nearby apartments or they’ve seen the kids in their uniforms at the local shops. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the kids have what they need for their exams. The canteen sells the usual snacks, and there is always a line at the water coolers. Getting here can be a bit of a pain with the Andheri traffic, especially when the rains start and the roads get those big puddles. But once you are inside the gate, it feels a bit more organized. It's just a normal school day for us most of the time.
