Rajesh Tea

Rajesh Tea is located in Building No. 126. We are in Shop No.1, which is part of Damodar 1. It’s right on Th Kataria Marg. If you know the Samadhan Hotel, we are just opposite that. Matunga West is a lively area to be in. Our shop isn't very large, but it fits everything we need. We have the tea tins lined up on the shelves. They are old but they hold the leaves well. The morning shift starts when it’s still quiet outside. Once the hotel across the street opens up, things get moving. We see a lot of the same faces every day. People stop by on their way to work or after running errands. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn down from all the walking. We don't mind. It shows people come here. We keep a small radio in the corner, usually playing some old songs. It helps the day go by faster. The smell of tea is always in the air here. It’s a strong, familiar scent. We make sure the stove is always ready. We don't have any big advertisements. Just the shop name and the tea we serve. It’s a straightforward business. We focus on the daily routine. The sink is always full of cups that need washing. It's a lot of standing, but we are used to it by now.
