Rajesh P Verma

I've been here in the Laxman Nagar Industrial Area for a while now. If you know Jogeshwari, you know how busy it gets around here with all the workshops and trucks coming in and out. Rajesh P Verma is just the name on the door, but it’s really just me and a couple of others trying to get through the daily list of things to do. The heat in the industrial area can be a lot during the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. It isn't a fancy setup. We have the usual tools and a desk that’s seen better days, piled high with papers and bits of projects we are working on. Most days start early, before the traffic really peaks, and we stay until the light starts to go. People stop by sometimes just to ask directions or see what we are up to. I don't really have a big speech about what I do. I just handle the work as it comes in and try to make sure everything is sorted out correctly. It’s a lot of noise outside, what with the other units nearby, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a tea break then. That’s just how it is here in this part of town. We just keep at it day after day without thinking too much about it. It’s just life in Jogeshwari and we take it one day at a time.
