Rajen Damani Associates

We are located up on the 8th floor of Mittal Chambers, which is over at A 89 on R V Road in Nariman Point. It’s a busy building with lots of different people coming and going all day long. My name is Rajen Damani and I run this small outfit with a few associates. The view from the window is mostly of other office buildings, but you can see a bit of the sky if you lean in. Nariman Point is a fast-moving area, though our particular floor stays pretty quiet most of the time. We’ve got a couple of rooms and a lot of shelving for all the folders we keep. It isn't a place with modern furniture or anything flashy; we mostly use the same desks we started with years ago. People come by when they have specific things that need looking at. We try to keep a steady pace and not get too overwhelmed when things get busy. The elevators in Mittal Chambers can take a while during the lunch hour, so we usually just stay in. It’s a practical workspace for us. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders as long as we can find what we need. It’s just a group of us working through the daily tasks. Most of our day is spent at the computers or on the phone. It's not a big corporate firm, just us doing our associates' work.
