You can find Raja'S Coffee Co. at Plot No. 20/3 in G.M. Plaza. We are right on Albert Victors Road in the Fort area. It’s an old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of character, even if they are a bit worn down. Our space in the plaza is mostly for storage and some basic processing. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops nearby. The coffee comes in from the estates, and we spend our time sorting through the bags. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around. The floor is concrete and often has a thin layer of coffee dust on it. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just keep the windows open and let the city sounds in. You can hear the traffic and the vendors shouting all day. We have a few old desks where we handle the orders. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. It’s more of a working shop where the focus is on the beans. We’ve been here in Fort for a long time. People know us as the place with the stacks of burlap sacks. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza acts up, so we have to carry things up the stairs. It’s just part of the job. We keep to ourselves mostly and just focus on getting the coffee out to the people who buy from us. It is just a simple, hardworking shop.
