Raj Straps Mart

We’ve been here at 87 A Masjid for a while now. It’s a small spot but it stays busy most days. People come in looking for a new strap because their old one finally snapped or just got too dirty to wear. We keep a lot of different sizes in the drawers. Leather, metal, rubber, we try to have a bit of everything so nobody leaves empty-handed. Most of the time, I’m just sitting behind the counter swapping out pins or adjusting lengths for people who stop by after work. The area around the masjid gets pretty crowded, especially on Fridays, so there’s always something to see out the front door. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the shelves organized and make sure we have what people ask for. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is on this street. I usually open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. If you walk past, you'll see the displays in the window. It isn't a huge operation, just me and a couple of guys making sure the stock is where it should be. We’ve seen all kinds of watches over the years, from expensive ones to ones that have seen better days. Every day is mostly the same, just checking the inventory and chatting with whoever walks in. It’s a simple living and we’re used to the noise outside by now.
