Rahul Steel Industries

Rahul Steel Industries is tucked into the Taj Bhai Building, which is right on Maulana A K A Road, or what many people still call Duncan Road. Our unit is 3-A. It is an old building with a lot of character, and you can definitely tell it has been around for decades. When you walk in, the smell of metal is the first thing that hits you. It is a busy area with trucks and handcarts always blocking the way outside on the street. We do a lot of heavy lifting here. It gets quite hot in the summer months because of the way the building is constructed, so we keep the fans going all day. The walls have some marks from where we move the steel around, but that is part of the job. People come and go through the main gate of Taj Bhai Building all day long. It is a noisy spot, especially when the workshops nearby are in full swing. We keep things pretty simple inside. There is a small desk for the books and the rest of the floor is for the materials. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations because they would just get covered in dust anyway. It is a hardworking place and we have been at this address for a long time. The street outside is always a mess of traffic, but we manage to get our loads in and out somehow. It's just us.
