Rahima's Creation

We are tucked away at 129 Bapu Khote Street, right near Pydhonie. It’s one of those narrow streets where everything is always moving. Rahima's Creation is a small operation. We do a lot of handwork and detailing on various pieces. The space is tight, and we have shelves stacked up to the ceiling with materials. Pydhonie is a very old part of the city, so the buildings have a lot of character, but they can be a bit cramped. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one so people can find the door. It’s usually quite hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We aren't a big corporation. We're just a few people who know how to make things. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps of cloth. We don't really do much advertising. People just know where we are. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time looking at small details. My hands are usually stained with something or another by the end of the day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here at 129 Bapu Khote Street. We take our time with things because rushing usually leads to mistakes. That's just how Rahima's Creation operates, day in and day out. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough.
