Radheshyam Enterprises

Radheshyam Enterprises is based at Carnac Bunder. We are in the Ashirwad building on Ahmedabad Street, number 101. If you know Mumbai, you know Carnac Bunder is a place that never really stops moving. It’s full of old buildings and narrow streets packed with goods. Our office is right in the middle of all that hustle. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze to get here sometimes with all the lorries parked everywhere, but it’s our home. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign outside. It’s mostly just stacks of papers and people coming in to check on their orders. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that. We handle a bit of everything in the enterprise line. Every day is different, one day it’s quiet and the next everyone wants something at the same time. We don't use much technology besides the basics, we prefer talking to people face to face or on the old landline. It’s a traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. We know the neighbors and the local loaders who have been here as long as we have. It’s a real community here, even if it looks chaotic to someone from the outside. The smell of the salt from the nearby docks is always in the air, reminding us where we are. We just keep our heads down and get the shipping lists sorted.
