Our place is over in Vikhroli West, specifically in the Lucky Compound. If you know the Sarkhej Circle area, you know how hectic it gets. We are tucked away in the Kailash Industrial Complex. It’s mostly warehouses and small workshops around us, so there is always noise and people moving things. We started R N Cabs because there were always people in the industrial estate needing to get somewhere quickly. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of our time is spent looking at maps or talking to drivers over the phone to see where they are stuck. The traffic near the complex can be a real headache, especially during shift changes. We have a small desk and a couple of chairs where we sit and handle the bookings. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times the phone won't stop ringing for an hour straight. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us trying to keep the cars in good shape and making sure the fuel tanks are full. The roads around Vikhroli have their bumps, and we know exactly where they are. We just focus on getting through the day. Working in an industrial area means you meet all sorts of people, from workers to managers. We just give them a ride when they need one. It’s a simple setup we have here. There is always someone around to take a booking, and we just try to keep things moving.
