R M Patidar & Associates is located in a basement in Tardeo, specifically Gala No 12, Basement B. Being in a basement in Bombay means it stays a bit cooler than the street, which is a blessing in the summer months. It’s not a large area, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. There are desks tucked into the corners and shelves lining the walls to hold all our files. Tardeo is a central spot, so it’s easy for us to get around when we need to meet people or go to the government offices. The lighting inside is all artificial, obviously, so we sometimes lose track of the time. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who have worked together for years. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. The entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to watch your head if you're tall. We don't have fancy brochures to hand out. We just do the work that comes in and try to stay organized. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get deliveries, but we make it work. It’s a humble setup but it serves us well for what we need to do.
