R K Steel & Engineering Co is located at number 9, Khetwadi. We are in the Shree Bhuvan building, which sits right near the Western Express Highway. It’s a very noisy and fast-paced part of the city. Being so close to the highway means we hear the traffic all day long. Our office is a simple one. We don’t have fancy carpets or designer furniture. It’s mostly metal desks and cabinets filled with files. We’ve been operating from Khetwadi for a long time. It’s a good spot for an engineering company because we are central to a lot of things. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking over technical drawings. We don’t have a marketing department. We just do our work and let that speak for itself. Sometimes the building feels a bit cramped, but we manage with the space we have. Shree Bhuvan is an older structure, but it’s sturdy. We know the other people in the building and everyone mostly keeps to themselves. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance. It’s nothing fancy, just our name. We just try to be there and show up every day to get the job done. Life here is about the grind and making sure the engineering side of things is handled correctly. We don’t make things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just a local business doing what it knows best since we first moved in here.
