R K Metal Foundry

Our place is located over in the Ambica Saw Mill compound, tucked away on Ajwa Road in Andheri West. R K Metal Foundry has been operating from this spot for a good while. It's a bit of an industrial area, so it gets dusty and noisy around here with all the work going on. You’ll find us right near the apartment buildings. We aren't the type of business that cares about having a shiny showroom or a nice waiting area. The floor is usually covered in sand and metal bits, which is just how a foundry is supposed to look. We have a small crew of guys who know their way around the equipment. Most of our work involves the heat and the molds, and it’s honest work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We get our hands dirty every single day. There’s no air conditioning in the main work area, just the fans blowing air around. We don't use big words to describe what we do. If a job comes in, we look at it and see if we can get it done. People find us because they know where the Ambica compound is. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it works for us. It’s a practical setup. We just focus on the metal and the pouring and making sure things are solid before they leave the shop.
