We are located in the Bomboy Mutual Building, right at 62 Fort Ved Road on the first floor. Working in the Fort area means we are surrounded by a lot of history and old architecture, which is nice to see every morning. The building itself is quite grand from the outside, but inside it’s just a bunch of regular offices like ours. We’ve got a fairly standard setup with several desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the records we keep. The windows are large, but they look out onto other buildings, so there isn’t much of a view. We spend a lot of our time dealing with clients and handling various accounts or other matters that come across our desks. It’s the kind of place where there’s always a pot of tea on the go and someone is usually on the phone. The floors are old stone and the ceilings are high, which helps keep the place somewhat cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have any modern art or fancy carpets around here. It’s just a place of work where people have been coming for years and years. We know the other tenants in the building and the security guys at the front gate. It’s a steady kind of life here in the city. We usually start early to beat the worst of the noise and the heat. It’s a functional space that suits us just fine for the work we do every day. It works.
