Pyasa Cold Drinks

Pyasa Cold Drinks is located at Plot No. A 1 in Vijay Niwas. We are in the Kurla West area, specifically in Kajupada along the Pipe Line. It is a very crowded and busy part of Mumbai. Shivaji Vidyalaya is right nearby, so we see hundreds of students every day. They come in groups and make a lot of noise, which we have gotten used to over the years. The shop is quite small and it is usually packed with crates of glass bottles. We sell all sorts of cold drinks, and in the summer, we can barely keep the fridge full. The humidity in Kurla is very high, so everyone is always looking for something to cool them down. My uncle started this shop a long time ago, and I have been here since I was young. The fan in the corner is very old and it rattles whenever it is on high speed. We should get it fixed, but we never seem to find the time. The street outside is always full of people, bikes, and vendors. When the monsoon comes, the water sometimes gets close to the doorstep, but we just keep going. We know all the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of chai in the afternoons. It is a busy life in a busy city, but this shop is our second home.
