PVR Cinemas

We are located over in Goregaon East, specifically on Govindappa Road in the R S Palya area. It's a big building, hard to miss if you're driving by. Most of us who work here live pretty close, so it's a short commute. We spend a lot of time cleaning up popcorn from the floors and making sure the projectors are running right. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the halls. Some nights get really crowded when a big movie comes out, and we all have to jump in to help at the counters. On Tuesday afternoons it’s usually pretty quiet, which gives us a chance to catch up on maintenance. The seats are okay, we try to keep them clean as best as we can. We've had the same group of staff for a while now, so we all know how things work. Sometimes the ticket machines act up and we have to fix them on the fly. It's just a place for people to come and watch something for a couple of hours. We don't do anything special, just show the movies that are sent to us. People come here with their families or friends, and we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It’s a decent job, keeps us on our feet. The air conditioning is usually cold, which is nice when it's hot outside. We’re just here every day, morning till late night.
