Purva Export & Import

We've been at No. 6 Saraswati Bldg in the Gas Co. Lane for a while now. Most people around Lalbaug know where that is. Purva Export & Import is basically just us handling stuff coming in and going out. It gets pretty busy in the lane during the day. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting through, but we manage. It’s a small spot, nothing fancy. We spend most of our time on paperwork or checking crates. It's just regular work. My desk is usually covered in folders and I keep a kettle in the corner for tea. The building itself is old, but it stays cool enough. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us or they know us from before. It’s mostly just making sure things get to where they need to go without too much trouble. If you're coming by, look for the sign near the gas company entrance. The stairs are a bit narrow, so watch your step. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things move along. It's noisy outside with the traffic, but we get things done. We've stayed in Lalbaug because it's where we started. Nothing much has changed over the years here. Just keeping at it every day and trying to stay organized.
