Our place is at unit 49 in the Whispering Palm Shopping Centre. Being in Lokhandwala Township on Akurli Road means there is always something going on. Mumbai is a loud place and Kandivali East is no different. We spend most of our time here at Purav Safety Engineers looking over safety gear and making sure the engineering side of things is handled right. It’s not a quiet job. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and people coming in to ask about different equipment. The shopping center is a good spot because it’s easy for folks to find us, even if parking can be a real headache sometimes. Inside the shop, it’s mostly shelves and desks. We aren't big on decorations. We care more about whether the tools are where they should be. The team has been together for a while, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs doing. We usually start pretty early before the heat gets too bad. By the afternoon, the shop is usually full of life. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s about being reliable for the people who need this kind of equipment. We’ve seen the township change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot, doing the same practical work we’ve always done. It’s just how we operate every single day without making any big fuss or scene about it.
