Our office and small work area are tucked away on the third floor of Bhagat House in Goregaon East. We are located right opposite the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road, so the sound of traffic is basically a constant background noise for us throughout the day. It is a very busy stretch of road, but it makes it fairly easy for people to find where we are. We mostly deal with parts for pumps and other automotive components. It is technical work that requires checking measurements and making sure the quality is where it needs to be before any parts leave the building. Our space is not huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack things and keep our inventory. We have a few small machines running, but a lot of the job involves managing orders and communicating with the different factories we work with. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is having a bad day, which happens every once in a while. We have been in this spot for several years now and most of the other business owners in the building know us by name. It is just honest work, making sure engines and machines have the right components to keep running. We do not do anything fancy here, we just focus on the parts and the people who need them. The small coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office.
