Our office is tucked away in the Solaris Complex, specifically 111/A on Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East. It is a busy area, as anyone who knows Mumbai can tell you. Protocol One It Labs Pvt Ltd started because there was a need for some technical hands-on work in this part of town. We are not some shiny glass tower company. We are in a solid complex where a lot of other people are also working hard. The space inside is filled with computers and cables, and it usually smells like coffee and old electronics. It’s a place for working, not for showing off. We spend a lot of hours here, sometimes late into the evening when a project needs finishing. The traffic on Saki Vihar Road can be a nightmare, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We don’t really do marketing or put up big billboards. Most people find us because someone else told them we could help. It is a very direct way of doing things. We talk to our clients like they are regular people because they are. No corporate jargon or confusing terms if we can help it. Just fixing problems and building things that work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but the work gets done and that is what actually counts at the end of the day. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
