Prolite

You can find Prolite over at Singh Industrial Estate No. 25, which is on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. It’s one of those busy industrial pockets where everyone is busy making something. Our unit is just a standard industrial space. We’ve got our machinery and our storage racks all squeezed in. It gets a little cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we’ve learned how to move around each other. The area around Ram Mandir Road has changed a lot over the years with the new station and all the traffic, but the estate stays pretty much the same. We spend our days mostly focused on the production side. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a fancy lobby. Usually, there’s a bit of grease on the floor and the sound of tools running. We’ve been here in Goregaon for quite a while, and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a community of makers, really. We just do our work, pack the boxes, and get them on the trucks. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to finish, but that’s just part of the deal. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time, we’re on our feet in the workshop. If you’re driving down from the main road, the estate is easy enough to find if you keep an eye out for the signs. It’s a bit noisy, but we like it.
