Prima Pipes

Our shop is located in Vile Parle East on Cunningham Road. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. Pipes are basically what we live and breathe every day. We have all sorts of sizes piled up in the back and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in with all the inventory. It’s a busy part of town so there’s always noise from the street outside. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back checking the stock or loading up a small truck. The rain can be a real pain during the monsoon season because we have to be careful about everything getting wet or the road getting blocked. Most of our days are spent just keeping track of what’s going out to different sites. It’s not very glamorous work. We get our fair share of grease and grime on our clothes by the end of the shift. We’ve got a few regulars who have been buying from us since we first opened our doors on Cunningham Road. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned notebooks and a bit of memory. It keeps us busy and the day goes by pretty fast when there are a lot of orders to sort through. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving and making sure the inventory is where it should be.
