Our office is situated at 82 Kalbadevi on the first floor. It’s office number 5, inside a place called Raste Wada. If you’ve ever been to Kalbadevi, you know how packed the streets are and how the buildings are full of history. Raste Wada is an old structure with a lot of character. Getting up to the first floor involves some narrow stairs, but that’s just part of the experience here. We focus on precision tools. It’s a small office, but it serves our needs perfectly. We aren't looking for a modern glass building. We like the atmosphere of the market and the way everyone is always rushing around. Being in Survey No 499 means we’re right in the heart of the trade area. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, selling parts or tools or fabrics. It’s a noisy, lively place to be every day. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and talking to people who climb those stairs to see us. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s very real. Kalbadevi has its own soul, and we feel like a small part of it. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the street just blend into the background. We just keep our office running and make sure the tools are ready for whoever needs them. It’s practical work in an old, busy wada.
