We’ve been here at Mayuresh Srishti Park for quite a while now. Specifically, we are in the J Wing, Flat 303. It is right opposite the Hind Rectifier on Lake Road in Bhandup West. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets. It's not a fancy corporate tower or anything, just a regular place where we do our work. Precision Gears Ltd is what we call ourselves. We deal with gears and mechanical stuff every single day. My desk is usually covered in papers and some small metal parts that need looking at. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, which is a bit of a pain when you're carrying heavy things, but we manage. People around here know us as the gear folks. We don't really do big advertisements. Mostly, people just find us through word of mouth or by walking past the gate. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic from Lake Road, but once you’re inside the flat, it’s mostly just the sound of us typing or talking on the phone with suppliers. Mumbai-78 is home for us. We just try to get the orders right and send them out on time. It's not a complicated life, just honest work with bits of metal that need to be exactly right. We’ve been through many monsoon seasons here, watching the rain hit the windows while we figure out technical drawings. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
