Our office is at 22/9-10 on Khadak Street, which is just off Masjid Bunder Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with all the handcarts and delivery vans. At Pratap Logistics Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time on the phone or tracking where the latest shipments have reached. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned because of the traffic or a delay at the warehouse. The office is small and the walls are lined with boxes of files and old manifest records. We don't have a lot of space for anything extra, so we just focus on the desks and the computers. Usually, someone is shouting over the noise of the street to get a driver’s attention. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time now. It’s a bit worn out, but it’s where we do all our work. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the nearby stalls because there’s always a truck arriving or leaving that needs attention. We don't use any fancy management talk here. We just try to keep the goods moving from one point to another without getting too stuck in the daily chaos of Masjid Bunder. It is honest work and we stay pretty busy from morning until late evening when the street finally starts to quiet down a little bit.
