This is Room No 204 in the Shraddha Niketan building, located right in Borivali West. It’s a simple room where I handle my daily business. I’ve been in this specific spot for quite some time now, and I’ve grown fond of the way the light hits the desk in the afternoon. The building is a typical Borivali residential complex, so there’s a lot of domestic life going on around the office. You might hear a neighbor’s radio or the sound of someone cooking nearby. It’s not a sterile corporate environment, and I prefer it that way. The room is filled with folders and ledgers that I keep organized in my own way. I don't have a big team or a fancy reception area. It’s just me and the occasional visitor who knows the way up to the second floor. I spend most of my time caught up in paperwork or taking calls. The fan overhead has a bit of a rattle, but it does its job well enough. Sometimes the walk up the stairs feels a bit longer than usual, but it’s part of the routine. I like the local feel of Borivali. It’s a place where people actually talk to each other. My setup is basic—a good desk, a sturdy chair, and enough light to see what I’m doing. It’s a quiet life here in Room 204, focusing on the work at hand and keeping things moving.
