Pramanik Metal Works

If you ever find yourself on Panjarapole Road, you might see us at C-30 in Sarvodaya Nagar. Pramanik Metal Works is a place where we do our work every day. It’s a noisy neighborhood because there are workshops all around, but we like the energy. Our shop is filled with various items and machines, so there isn’t much room to walk around. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. We just have our tools and a small corner where we keep our books. The work is physically demanding and we often go home tired. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’ve been at it for a long time. Sometimes the traffic on Panjarapole Road makes it hard to move materials in and out, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t have a website or do any advertising. People usually find out about us from their friends or by just walking past the shop in Sarvodaya Nagar. We start our day early and end it when the sun goes down. It’s a straightforward life. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We are just a local business trying to do right by the people who come to us at C-30. The building is old but it serves us well enough for our needs. We have become a regular part of the street over the years and we know most of the other owners nearby.
