Pragnay Beer Shop (Opc) Private Limited is located on the ground floor at 18 Old Barden Lane. This is in the Mandvi area, near Masjid, which is one of the oldest and most crowded parts of Mumbai. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know how narrow they are. We are right there in the mix of it. It’s a small shop, and we keep it stocked with various beers. We don't have a lot of room, so we have to be smart about how we stack the crates. It’s a basic setup. We open up in the morning and stay until late. The neighborhood is full of traders and people moving goods, so there is always noise outside. We know most of the people who walk by every day. It’s a One Person Company, so it’s a very personal operation. There aren't any fancy displays or neon signs, just the stock on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we clean up and keep going. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s a neighborhood shop where people can pick up what they need and go home. Being in Mandvi has its challenges, like the traffic and the tight spaces, but it feels like home to us now. We just do our thing every day and try to keep the coolers running properly so things stay cold.
