Pradeep Natwarlal Joshi

Pradeep Natwarlal Joshi is based out of a spot near Grant Road. Specifically, we are at A 21 on Bhairavnath Road. It is right near the Gopal Chowk Char Rasta, which is a very busy intersection as anyone who lives around here knows. You can hear the honking and the shouting of the vendors all day long. Getting to us involves navigating that four-way crossing which can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. Our place is tucked away in the building, away from some of the direct noise, but you can still feel the energy of the market outside. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character. We have a few desks and some old wooden cupboards filled with records. It is a practical space, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily flow of things that come through Grant Road. The air gets a bit dusty in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People stop by to ask for directions sometimes because Char Rasta is such a landmark. We don't mind. It is part of being in such a central location. The address is easy to remember once you find the big landmark of Gopal Chowk. We have been here through many seasons and seen the shops around us change owners many times. We just keep going at our own pace in our little corner of the city.
