Prachi Steels

Our business is located in the Darukhana Building, which is unit 68/101 on the VIP Road in the Karelibaug area of Vadodara. It is a busy industrial part of the city. We deal mostly in steel products, so the whole place has that heavy, metallic feel to it. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations or air conditioning. There are stacks of steel everywhere and the floor is usually a bit dirty from all the moving of materials. We have a small office space inside the building where we do all the billing and talk to the people who come in for orders. It gets very hot in Vadodara during the summer, and the building can feel like an oven sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We spend our days coordinating with the trucks that come to pick up orders and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of physical work and shouting over the noise of the machines and the traffic from the VIP Road. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local steel yard serving the builders and workshops around here. People know they can just walk in and ask for what they need. We’ve been in this location for a long time, so we know most of the regulars. It’s just a straightforward, practical business that keeps us busy from dawn to dusk.
