We are located down at Dana Bunder, specifically 87-B in Nooruddin Chambers. It’s on the second floor, so you have to walk up the stairs. It’s an old building, Pathans Cha, and it has that classic feel to it. We deal with tea and some textiles, which is an odd mix maybe, but it’s what we’ve always done. The office is usually full of the smell of tea leaves. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks and noise from the street below. Being on the second floor helps a bit with the sound. We have our regulars who have been buying from us for years. We don’t do any fancy marketing or social media stuff. Mostly, it’s just phone calls and people coming by to settle accounts or check samples. The tea comes in big sacks and we spend a lot of time checking the quality. Same goes for the cloth. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so walking up is better. It's a no-nonsense kind of place. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and samples laid out. We’ve stayed in this spot because everyone knows where to find us in Dana Bunder. It’s not a showroom, just a place where the work gets done every day. We start early and usually finish up by the time the evening traffic gets really bad.
