You can find us over at Gala 5 in the J. K. Estate which is right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. Working at Ppi Impex Pvt. Ltd. usually means a lot of noise from the street because there are always trucks and cars going past. The estate itself is quite busy and there are always people loading and unloading things near the entrance. Our space isn't huge but it fits everything we need for our import and export work. We deal with a lot of different items and that means a lot of forms and boxes piling up in the corner. Andheri is a hectic part of Mumbai but it’s good for business because everything is close by. We start the morning by going through the new orders and figuring out the shipping schedules. Most of the time we are busy coordinating with the drivers or checking the inventory in the back. It’s a very practical environment and we don’t spend much time making things look fancy. We are more focused on getting the crates moved and making sure the labels are right. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment is due to go out. We eat our lunch at our desks mostly because there is always something to finish. It is a straightforward way of doing things and we have been doing it this way at the gala for a long time.
