You can find us at Link Office No 11 on the first floor of Jay Mahal Estate. It is at 20/48 Lohar Chawl. If you have ever been to Lohar Chawl, you know how crowded it gets. It is a maze of wires and lights and people pushing carts. Our office is up the stairs, away from the worst of the street noise, but you can still hear the shouting from below. It is a small space filled with boxes and ledgers. We have been trading here for a while and the building shows its age. The lift doesn't always work right, so we usually take the stairs anyway. It keeps us moving. We deal with various electrical things and links, mostly just moving stuff from one place to another. It is a busy life in this part of town. Lunch is usually a quick bite from the corner stall while we check the orders. We don't have any fancy carpets or glass walls. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of samples lying around. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get inside our office, it is bright enough to see the details. We like being in the heart of the market where everything happens. There are so many shops around us and someone is always dropping by for a chat or to ask about a part. The stairs are narrow and we have to be careful when we are carrying heavy boxes down to the street level. It is a bit of a workout every day. Most of the people around here have been in the business for decades. We all know the rhythms of the morning tea and the late evening rush. Even when it is raining hard, the market stays busy with plastic sheets covering everything. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the orders out on time. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy from morning to night. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else because this is where the action is.
