Poonam Rubber Products

Our place is in Charko, Kandivali West, inside the Mihar Apartments. We’ve been running Poonam Rubber Products from this spot for a while now. It’s more of a workspace than a proper office, so you’ll see plenty of samples and materials lying around. We handle different types of rubber items, mostly small parts that people need for their machines or home repairs. The building is usually quiet, but our room stays busy with calls and packing. It gets a bit dusty with all the stuff we move in and out. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory well. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for a specific washer or seal that they can’t find anywhere else. We spend time looking through our boxes to see if we have it in stock. Charko is a decent area for a business like ours because it is easy for suppliers to drop things off. We don't really do much advertising; most people just hear about us from someone else in the building or nearby. The workspace can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, but we manage. We use an old desk for all the paperwork and billing. It’s a simple setup where we just focus on getting the right products to the right people. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of things here in Kandivali.
