Podar International School

The Podar International School (Ib & Cie) Primary Section is right in the middle of the chaos at Shagun Plaza. We are located on Linking Road in Khar West, right opposite the Ckp Club. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how loud and busy it gets. There are shops everywhere and people constantly walking past the entrance. Our school is tucked into the plaza area. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. The primary section is always full of energy and noise. We have to keep the doors shut to drown out the constant honking from Linking Road. It’s not your typical sprawling school campus with green fields. It’s a city school through and through. We use the space we have to the best of our ability. The floors are a bit worn down from all the little feet running across them. We spend our days making sure the kids are where they need to be. Shagun Plaza is a big landmark around here, so most people don't have trouble finding us. It’s a bit of a rush every morning when the school starts. You get used to the fast pace of Khar after a while. It’s just how things are in this neighborhood. We are just a bunch of people working in a busy plaza. We usually order tea from the stall just around the corner.
