Podar International School (Ssc)

This is the SSC branch of the school, and we are situated in the Tower Building on Saraswati Road in Santacruz West. It’s the same building that houses some other sections, so it’s a very busy place to be. We are on one of the floors there, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We start early, get the registers ready, and wait for the students to arrive. Being in Santacruz means we are right in the thick of things. The streets around here are narrow and always full of people. We don't have a marketing team, so we are just writing this as we see it. The classrooms are basic but they work for what we need. We have some old cupboards for supplies and a lot of notice boards that are usually covered in drawings or schedules. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We don't talk about missions or anything like that. We just show up, teach the classes, and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the lift in the Tower Building takes a while, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just regular life in a city school. We try to keep the noise down, but with so many people in one building, it’s never really quiet. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we do our best with what we have.
