Tembo Exim Pvt. Ltd.

Plot No. D 146/147 is where we stay busy. We've been at Tembo Exim Pvt. Ltd. for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it’s mostly just paperwork and checking on the inventory. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The air in the office gets a bit stuffy in the afternoon, so we usually crack a window or step outside for a minute. People come and go, deliveries arrive, and we try to keep it all sorted without too much mess. It’s a lot of manual tracking. You learn to recognize the sound of certain trucks coming down the road. Sometimes we eat lunch at our desks because there’s just too much to handle before the day ends. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just moving goods and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the week. My desk is covered in sticky notes because my memory isn't what it used to be. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner that makes a lot of noise but gives us the tea we need to keep going. It’s a plain setup. No big decorations or corporate posters on the walls here. We just focus on the task right in front of us until it's time to lock up the gate and go home to our families.
