We have been running Pitambra Power over here on Grant Road for a good while now. The shop is tucked away on 7th Main in Cashier Layout 4. It is not a big fancy place, just a regular spot where we keep all the batteries and backup systems stacked up. Most days start around nine when the shutters go up. The street gets pretty loud with the traffic passing by, but inside it is mostly just the sound of the fan and us moving heavy stuff around. We spend a lot of time testing units and making sure things actually turn on when they are supposed to. People from around the layout come in when their lights go out or when they need a new battery for their scooter. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane outside, and we have to go out and help them navigate. It is a lot of lifting and carrying, so my back usually hurts by the time evening rolls around. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. There are tools laying on the workbench and some old spare parts in the corner that we might need one day. It is just a practical place for people who need power stuff fixed or replaced. We stay open until the sun goes down and then we head home like everyone else on this street.
