Pick Up Travels

We are located at 49/49 B, 1/39, Shree Ganesh Na in Parel. Our office is right next to where they put up the stage for Lalbaug Raja every year. Because of that, things get extremely busy and crowded during the festival season. The rest of the year, it’s just a normal, busy street. Our office is quite small, mostly just enough room for a couple of desks and a bench for people to sit on. We spend our hours talking to drivers and making sure the cars are where they need to be. There are pieces of paper with phone numbers and addresses taped all over the walls. It’s not a polished corporate office. The floor is a bit worn out from all the people coming in and out. We drink a lot of chai while we wait for the phones to ring. Sometimes the traffic in Parel makes it hard for our vehicles to get around, which can be a bit stressful. We don't use any complicated booking systems; we just keep track of everything in our notebooks. It’s a local way of doing things, and it works for us. We’ve been in this part of Parel for a long time, so we know all the shortcuts and the best places to park. It’s a simple travel desk, run by people who know the city well.
