Hans Nagar is a quiet enough place until you get closer to Ambedkar Chowk. Our shop at Plot No- 12 in Ghatkopar East is where we spend our whole day. It’s a tight space but we make it work with all the auto stuff we keep. Rajawadi is a busy area, so there is always some movement outside. We see the same faces every morning when people head to work and then again in the evening. It’s mostly about keeping things moving for the local folks who need their vehicles looked at. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the parts people ask for and the tools we use. The shop isn't shiny or new, it has that smell of rubber and metal that stays on your clothes. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy around here, but that is part of being in Mumbai. We usually have a tea from the stall nearby and get back to whatever is on the bench. It is a humble setup, but it serves the purpose for anyone coming through the lanes of Hans Nagar. We keep our hours regular so people know when they can find us. It’s just how things have always been at Pawan Auto. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a place to get parts or a quick check-up. The shelf is a bit disorganized right now, but we know exactly where every bolt is kept.
