Patel Integrated Logistics Ltd

Patel House is over in Santacruz West, right on North Avenue near Gazdhar Bandh. It’s a pretty well-known spot around here. Patel Integrated Logistics Ltd operates out of this building, and it’s usually quite a hive of activity from early morning until late evening. The office sits at Plot No. 48, and there is always a van or a truck somewhere nearby getting ready for a trip. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have rows of desks and some older computers that have seen better days. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people asking where their stuff is or when a driver will arrive. Santacruz can get very congested, so we spend a lot of time looking out the windows at the traffic on the street. It’s a regular office with people who have been working together for years. We know the local tea seller by name and usually get a round in around four o’clock. There isn’t much in the way of fancy furniture, just what we need to manage the logistics and the schedules. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but that’s just how the neighborhood is. We handle a lot of different things moving across the country, so there is a lot of coordination involved. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and making notes on big paper pads. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
