Parvaz Impex

We’ve been sitting here at No. 23 Husainiya Marg for a good while now. Most people know this part of Pakmodiyya Street as a busy spot, and it really is. Every morning we open up the shutters and start sorting through what needs to go out. Parvaz Impex isn't some huge corporation with fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us in a small space, surrounded by boxes and papers. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but you get used to it. Dealing with imports and exports sounds like it should be more exciting than it actually is. Mostly it is just checking lists and making sure the trucks can find the address without getting stuck in the narrow lanes. We don’t have a big marketing team. It’s usually just a couple of us handling the phones and talking to the drivers. The coffee here is okay, though the guy at the corner makes it better. We focus on the work right in front of us. If things move on time, we’re happy. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that is just how things are around here. We just try to keep things simple and get the orders processed before the sun goes down. It's nothing fancy, just a regular day-to-day operation on a very busy street.
