Partapmani Metal And Tubes is located at 77, Prabhu Shri Ram Mandir Marg in Mumbai. We are right across from the Nav Durga Mandir and very close to the Moti Cinema. This is a very busy part of the city, especially during festivals or when a popular movie is being shown. Our shop is filled with all kinds of metal pipes and tubes. It is a bit of a maze inside because we try to store as much stock as possible in the space we have. We spend our days measuring out lengths of tube and helping people find the right metal for their specific needs. The floor is made of concrete and it is often covered with a layer of metal dust from the cutting. We have a small counter where we handle the billing and talk to the customers who walk in from the street. It is a very direct, face-to-face business. The noise from the mandir and the traffic is constant, but we have grown to like it over the years. It makes the workday go by a bit faster. We don't have any corporate slogans or a department for marketing. It is just a few of us handling the inventory and making sure the orders are correct. Most of our customers are locals or contractors who have been coming here for a long time. We keep things simple and focus on the stock.
