Parivar Tea Centre

Parivar Tea Centre is located at D-31 in Khar. It is a small shop, but we manage to fit a lot into it. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the heavy scent of unbrewed tea leaves. We have big bags and tins of tea stacked up almost to the ceiling. It is a family-run spot and we have been here in Khar for many years. We spend our days weighing out tea for customers and chatting with the regulars who stop by. The counter is made of dark wood and has become smooth over time from all the hands resting on it. We do not have any fancy seating or a menu; people just come in to buy the tea they like. Sometimes we make a small pot of tea in the back to check the quality of a new batch. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the market or heading home from work. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when it is quiet. The walls are lined with simple shelves and we use an old scale to weigh everything out. It is a very straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We just focus on keeping the bins full and serving the people who have been buying from us for a long time. It is a small, dusty, but very familiar part of the neighborhood.
