Srujan Impex

We've been here at Dr. Ambedkar Road for a while now. It's an old building, Jawalkar Mansion, right in the Parel area. Most people around here know where we are. We handle things for the export and import side of things, mostly just keeping busy with the daily paperwork and getting orders sorted out. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but we manage. Srujan Impex is a small operation. There are just a few of us here. We spend our mornings checking emails and then the rest of the day is usually a bit of a rush to get things packed or sent off. It isn't anything fancy. We have some desks and a lot of files piled up. If you are coming over, you have to look for number 280/A. Sometimes people miss the sign because it isn't very big. We deal with various suppliers and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. It's a lot of back and forth on the phone. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we get the work done eventually. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Parel used to be different. Now there are big buildings everywhere, but we are still here in our usual spot. We just keep our heads down and work. That’s pretty much how it goes for us every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office, we just want to get the shipping done.
