Parekh Export

Parekh Export is tucked away in room 223 of the Natraj Market. This market is on S. V. Road in Malad West, and it stays busy from morning till night. Finding our spot can be a bit tricky if it's your first time because the hallways are narrow and there are so many other businesses crammed in. Our space is filled with boxes and samples that we need for our export work. It’s a bit cramped, but we manage to fit a couple of desks and a computer in there. The lights in the market corridors flicker sometimes, but we don't pay much attention to it anymore. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure the shipments are moving. Since we are in Malad, the station is close by, so there’s always a stream of people coming and going. The air in the market can get a bit stuffy, especially in the afternoons. We usually leave the door open to get some breeze from the fans in the hallway. It’s a lively atmosphere to work in, even if it’s a bit chaotic. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. It’s a regular business life, nothing too special, just trying to get the orders out on time and keeping the paperwork in order. The stairs to the second floor are steep, so we get our exercise every day.
