Pareek Cold Drink House

Our little shop is tucked away inside Sugnomal Market, specifically at shop number 91. If you live around Malad West, you probably know how crowded and loud this whole area gets on a daily basis. We are situated on Plot No 24, near the N C C G area. It is a small space, and most of it is taken up by our big cooling units and stacks of plastic crates. We have been at this exact spot for many years now. People tend to come in when they are completely worn out from shopping in the market and just need something very cold to drink. It gets incredibly noisy outside with all the different vendors shouting and the constant flow of traffic. Inside the shop, it is mostly just the low hum of the refrigerators running all day. We keep the usual things in stock, like various sodas, plain water, and some of the local bottled drinks that people like. We do not have any kind of fancy seating area, just a simple counter and maybe a stool if the shop is not too crowded at that moment. The floor is made of old tile, and we have to spend a lot of time mopping it because of the condensation that drips off the cold bottles. It is a very straightforward kind of business. We open up quite early to get the new deliveries in and we stay until the market finally starts to quiet down late at night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the ice melting.
